Black Friday Shopping Guide

Black Friday has looked many different ways for us over the years. Our very first memories include eating leftover feasts, scouring the Thanksgiving ads, and making a game plan of all the best stores to go to. Our Black Friday shopping guide is filled with tips to help forget about that prep altogether!

If you are anything like us, when you start to think about Black Friday start to wonder “where is the best place to buy *******?” “What time do the stores open?” “How do I know if something is actually a good deal?” “Should I stay in or go out and shop?” And so many other questions. We must admit that sometimes thinking about scoring Black Friday deals gives a little stress with a high dose of adrenaline. You too?

We are sure that you have noticed, Black Friday comes earlier and earlier every year. Walmart has already released some of its deals twice this month but is promising to release ALL of its deals on Monday, November 22 at 7pm EST. Target was not far behind in beginning their deals the first week of November. For the last three years, we have spent the month of November preparing for Black Friday. With these years behind us, we now know the in’s and out of Black Friday and we are here to help you be prepared with this Black Friday shopping guide we created just for you!

Black Friday price match GUARANTEE

If you’re worried about purchasing something and then finding it at a different retailer for a better price, take a deep breath, most retailers have a holiday price match guarantee. What is a holiday price match guarantee? It’s simple, if you find the same item at a better price at a competitor, or even the same retailer, you can get a refund for the price difference. So, what retailers offer the magic? Target, Best Buy, Walmart.com, and Kohl’s all have slightly different variations to help you get the best price….guaranteed!

A special nod to Target, who, during the holidays, will price match if an item from in store or online goes lower between the time of purchase and December 24th!

Black friday shopping in-store vs online

The deals are the same in store and online. We personally love staying in and shopping from the comfort of our homes. The best part is we get to avoid all those long lines (they can be hours long, think Disneyland without the fun rides at the end!). We also find that deals continue to drop and be restocked all day long online on Black Friday. Items sell out within minutes in the store and usually don’t restock until the next day.

Black Friday deals all in one place

Our family Christmas lists are long with all of our loved ones to buy for and because we are Ali and Cassie, we refuse to pay full price on ANYTHING. If you don’t want to pay full price either, make sure you follow The Bargain Sisters. BAM! Mic drop! We promise that there is no other place that will share as many deals from all the best retailers ALL DAY LONG on Black Friday as we will. There will be something for every single person on your list and everything will be deeply discounted. Last BF we shared over 400 deals and this year will be no different. All the deals will be posted in our Facebook Group. If you don’t have Facebook, you can check out our blog, where all our deals are posted as well.

early Black Friday shopping

THERE ARE SO MANY EARLY BLACK FRIDAY DEALS ALREADY HAPPENING! Target has started its Deal of Day, Amazon has Early Black Friday going, Walmart has Deals for Days, Kohl’s has Early Black Friday Deals and Best Buy has their Deal of the Day. From our experience, the week before and after Black Friday is the best shopping week of the year. A lot of people wait until Black Friday hoping to score the best deal. We have seen over and over again that the deals leading up are just as good as Black Friday AND there is usually no mad rush to get the items. So hands down, we suggest shopping NOW. Then, IF you do find that the item drops in price don’t forget about the price match guarantee most stores are offering.

There are so many unknowns of Black Friday, one thing is for sure this year is going to be one for the history books. Make sure to follow along for all the best deals as we won’t disappoint. If you need some gifting inspo, check out our favorites for everyone on your list
